This car was built as a tribute to the 2,211 men who were unaccounted for in 1995 when the car was built, but in 2003 we added the names of all POWs including civilian POWs totaling 3,578 as Prisoners of War/Missing in Action during the Vietnam War from 1952 to 1975.
It's unfortunate that on occation we try to help a friend, neighbor or relative look for a name on the car that does not exist because that person had lied about their military service in Vietnam. It's sad to see the look on their faces when they discover the lie. We do not enjoy seeing this but we do expose the liars because they have stolen the Valor of brave men and used it to gain respect they had not earned. Today there are no longer secret missions, soldiers, CIA OPs, etc. when it comes to Vietnam. All covert operations are now declassified. If someone ever tells you their Vietnam military duty is still classified or secret, they are not being honest.
